This is a second test, where we are working with real graffiti and making a 3D world out of it, animating elements, together with video footage elements, a new world is created.

Moving within without

‘Moving within without’Is an experimental dance video that investigates the movement from the dancers within and from the outside. It takes the notion of being moved from within to the extreme: the dancers literary moves space.Sharing the same movement and tune each in there own way they createspaces-paintings with pixels.

‘Moving within without’ deals the theme of being moved and moving fromwithin. Where did the tune that is stuck in your head come from? Whenwe move we move the whole world around us. Moving through time thesedancers make spaces-paintings.

Live video werk voor dansvoorstelling E-motion in delay

Dansvoorstelling op live muziek en live video op de Goldbergvariates van Bach

E-motion in Delay is een dansvoorstelling van choreograaf Minke Elisa Brands door DC 1 II High met de ‘Goldbergvariaties’ van J.S. Bach als uitgangspunt. Bach gebruikte allerlei contrapuntischetechnieken waaronder fugatische en canonische. In E-motion in Delay worden deze technieken (uitgestelde herhalingen) met behulp van elektronica gerealiseerd; zowel in muziek als dans.

De compositie voor cello, gespeeld door Marieke van der Heyden, wordt live opgenomen en vervolgens door componist en geluidsontwerper Maurits Overdulve vervolmaakt tot een nieuwe compositie. Tegelijkertijd wordt ook danseres Alexandra Braguti, die eerder danste bij o.a. Scapino Rotterdam, in beeld vastgelegd door VJ Maarten van der Glas en wordt zij op het podium geconfronteerd met haar virtuele evenbeeld.

E-motion in Delay vormt een onderdeel van het programma All in One – BACH! Een initiatief van modern dansgezelschap Compagnie Fredewess uit Hannover.

Installations @ Freemote Festival 30-31 october, Stadsarchief Utrecht

Hard at work for two installation for the super cool Freemote Festival, part of cultural sunday 31 october. We will showcase two installations: one is a green screen Virtual Volleyball installation, where the visitor is invited to play with virtual ball projected on a screen.
The other installation is a remix machine of the famous King Kong movie, but instead of it being in New York, the setting is Utrecht. Draw your own monster on our big digital drawing screen and let it climb the Dom tower of Utrecht! All custom made movies will be projected on the location!
